What is CH Care OnDemand?

With CH Care OnDemand, you can access a clinician from your home, office, or on the go – 24/7/365. Our Board Certified Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers can visit with you either by phone or secure video to help treat most non-emergency medical conditions. They can diagnose your symptoms, prescribe medication, and send prescriptions to your pharmacy of choice.

How much does it cost to use CH Care OnDemand?

If you are NOT a Catholic Health associate on the First Choice Healthcare plan, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, there will not be a co-pay at this time. We will bill your insurance provider directly for these services and you will not incur any charges for this visit. If you are a Catholic Health associate on the First Choice Healthcare Plan, as part of your benefit, you will not be charged for visits.

How do I set up my CH Care OnDemand account?

You can easily set up your account by visit login.chcareondemand.org or downloading the mobile app, which is available on the Apple App store and Google Play.

What technology is required for a video visit?

As long as your device has a web camera and video capability, you may use a computer, tablet or smart phone. A mobile app is available for patients using iOS (iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch) or Android mobile platforms. If you are using a mobile device, it is recommended that you connect through Wi-Fi.

Can CH Care OnDemand physicians write a prescription?

Prescriptions are not guaranteed, and medically appropriate prescriptions will be written at the provider’s discretion. CH Care OnDemand physicians will not prescribe controlled substances (Narcotics, ADHD medications, pain medications), non-therapeutic drugs and/or other certain drugs that may be harmful due to their potential for abuse.

Is CH Care OnDemand private and secure?

Yes, CH Care OnDemand is designed to be a private, secure, HIPAA-compliant tool that allows you to safely and confidentially consult with a clinician online or over the phone.
